Living Waters Lodge

Living Waters Lodge in Ellijay, Georgia was the perfect family-friendly North Georgia mountain getaway! The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable, and packed with great amenities. Our kids loved playing basketball outside, air hockey and pool inside, relaxing in the hot tub, and spending hours fishing and playing in the beautiful Coosawattee River. We also really enjoyed the amenities throughout Coosawattee River Resort, and the location is hard to beat. It feels peaceful and tucked away , yet it’s still just a short drive to downtown Ellijay, local restaurants, shops, wineries, orchards, and other North Georgia attractions. If you’re looking for a beautiful riverfront cabin in Ellijay in The Coosawattee River Resort, Living Waters Lodge is an amazing choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had such a great stay at Living Waters Lodge! The lodge was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our larger group, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The river was one of our favorite parts of the property. It created such a peaceful setting, and we loved spending time outside enjoying the view and listening to the water. The fenced yard was also a huge bonus for both the kids and the dogs. It gave them a safe place to play and made the trip much more relaxing for the adults. The kids also loved the air hockey table and playing basketball outside! There is so much to do here that you never have to leave if you don't want to! The location was another major plus. The lodge was easy to get to and close to downtown Ellijay, restaurants, shopping, wineries, and other local attractions, while still feeling quiet and tucked away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for families, groups of friends, and anyone traveling with children or pets.

What a wonderful stay! Chelsea's place was perfect for our family and pups! Everything you think you want or need and even the things you didn't know you needed or wanted were in her beautiful space. Wonderful hostess, wonderful stay!

My grandchildren had a wonderful time and our family has never seen so many deer in our entire lives, it was truly magical. The house had everything we needed and we will gladly book this rental again when we are back in the area. I suggest all those coming to stay rent a large houseboat on Carters lake!!

Had a great week staying here! There were a couple minor things, but nothing that had to do with the host. Having the river right there was great! We did a baby snake down at the river under the rocks you use to step in on down into the river, but you are in nature, so not a huge surprise or anything. The air hockey, basketball, pool table, PlayStation and hot tub were huge hits with our boys - 5 & 11! The cabin was exactly as described! It does show some regular wear and tear, which is to be expected when you have a cabin that attracts a lot of families with children and pets staying there frequently. Pretty minor stuff though! Beds were comfortable, plenty of space, lots of amenities around the resort! Loved seeing all the deer! Host seemed very kind and responded very quickly- within minutes! We took this trip to clear our heads and spend some quality time together after dealing with a pretty difficult past year. This was the exactly what we needed!

Living Waters Lodge was everything we hoped for and more! The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and incredibly clean. The riverfront setting is peaceful, with easy access to the water for fishing, tubing, or just relaxing by the river. We loved spending evenings in the hot tub and around the fire pit, and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained with the game room and outdoor activities. The location is perfect…private and quiet, yet just a short drive from downtown Ellijay. The hosts have thought of every detail to make guests feel at home. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend Living Waters Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Great stay at a great cabin. The host thought about just about everything you would want or need for a vacation cabin. We took our dog and there were even bowls and treats ready for us. We had an awesome time. I would recommend bringing a paddle if yo you tube down the river because parts of it can get very slow—still was a great experience.

We absolutely LOVED this sweet little place! They went above and beyond! From fishing poles and kayaks available on the property, to the fully locked and loaded s’mores station, and everything and anything in between! This place was a dream for myself, my husband, our old doggo, and our two little boys (5&2). Fully fenced in property so felt like we could allow them to roam in the yard. They loved finding all the mushrooms, little snails, and even a couple of feathers around the property! We also loved that it was only 10 minutes away from downtown, but also felt very private and away from the hustle and bustle in the little community they have. They also have a super cute park that is in the community as well where we walked across a little bridge, played in the park, and saw an entire family of geese! The perfect little nature and family fun getaway for our family! We will definitely be back! P.S. The Jesus photo in the upstairs bathroom is the sweetest🥹♥️

Living Waters Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was very clean and well cared for, which made it feel comfortable right away. The river views are beautiful and really add to the peaceful atmosphere. The fenced yard is a great feature, especially for relaxing outside with the kids and dogs, and the games provided were a fun touch. It’s also conveniently located with an easy drive into town, so you get both quiet scenery and quick access to everything you need. I’d definitely stay here again.

The cabin was so cozy and had tons of things for us to do. We never needed to leave because it was so well equipped. The river was stunning! Our family had a great time!

We had a great Spring Break staying at Chelsea’s place. The house was well stocked and we appreciated all the amenities at home. It was plenty large enough for two families and their kids, the bunk was room very spacious. We did not get a chance to check out the rec center it was farther away than I realized! There was so much to do at the house the kids did not even notice that we never made it to the pool. Downtown Ellijay was a short and easy drive away, grocery stores are also nearby or delivery was not a problem. The beds were super comfortable as well. We hope to come back when it’s warmer to enjoy the river more.

We had an amazing stay at Living Waters Lodge! This place truly has everything you could need for a relaxing and fun getaway. The pool table and air hockey kept everyone entertained, and there were so many great outdoor activities to enjoy. The fishing was excellent, the hot tub was perfect after a long day, and the water was absolutely beautiful. One of the best parts was how convenient everything was…it’s close to town, and the roads getting there were easy to drive, which made the trip stress-free. This was honestly the best place we’ve stayed at in a while, and we can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely could not have had a better stay! Living waters lodge was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could possibly need already there. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days and barely left the resort and we have zero complaints . The kids enjoyed playing outside on the play set, splashing in the creek, enjoying family games of baseball in the backyard and roasting marshmallows more than anything. It was so relaxing and such a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and from the go go go of ordinary vacation spots. Chelsea was super great, very responsive and provided so many extras! The smores station and the ice cream maker in the cabin were a huge hit. We will definitely be back! If you’re looking at living waters lodge for your next vacation! Do yourself a favor and JUST BOOK IT!!!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! We had two families together and the cousins played from sun up to sun down! So many activities for our kids ranging from ages 1-12. The river was way bigger than we thought and it was the perfect amount of space for all of us. I loved the fenced in yard! My bernedoodle puppy was in heaven! It felt like a home with proper pans etc, blankets, and even s’mores! She was super responsive anytime I asked her a question! The kids are already begging to go back this summer!

This home is so much fun! Perfect location, on the River, close to many amenities and great restaurants. It is a perfect place for families to enjoy or just a short weekend get away. Chelsea was very responsive and caring to make sure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The place is very clean, decor perfect for a river house and amenities for entertainment while staying inside was like a play-center. No time for boredom! Our family loved Chelsea’s river cabin. I have 6 kids and there was something for all of us at the cabin. It felt so cozy and peaceful there and we enjoyed fishing in the river. We spent time as a family playing games, fishing, talking, eating, etc. The way Chelsea has the cabin set up and her accommodations make family time an absolute. I definitely recommend her cabin.

Beautiful house, fully equipped with everything you need, lots of entertainment for my 3 kids, beautiful yard and scenery, host was wonderful, we would highly recommend!!!

Chelsea is super attentive and responds very quickly even at night! The house looked exactly like the photos with lots of activities available right there to keep you or kids busy day and night. The river is literally the boundary of the yard. We saw so many deer just lounging in yards every day. The house is totally fenced in and you can drive right in and shut the gate behind you if you want so if you have a pup you don’t have to worry about them running off into the woods. Even though this place is pet friendly, which we appreciate, you would never know it by the furnishings and the cleanliness of everything. We highly recommend and would stay there again.

Great spot in Ellijay. My boys loved it!

We had the most wonderful stay here with our family! My boys really loved the playground and all the games in the play room and outside! Very family friendly place with lots of entertainment to keep kids occupied! They have really thought of every detail to ensure you feel right at home and have everything you need to have a wonderful stay! And all of the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Such a wonderful weekend! Thank you so much Chelsea for being a great host! We loved your beautiful river lodge!

We just returned from an incredible stay at this mountain property, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The house itself is charming, clean, and offers breathtaking views, but what truly elevated our experience was the exceptional hospitality of the host.They went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and comfortable. We were delighted to find that the house was proactively and thoroughly stocked with every necessity we might need—from basic pantry staples, fresh coffee, and cooking essentials to plenty of towels, toiletries, and even extra blankets for cozy evenings by the fire and smores kit for a tasty treat by the fire as well. The host was easily reachable, provided excellent local recommendations, and clearly takes pride in ensuring guests have everything they need. If you are looking for a peaceful, hassle-free mountain retreat with a truly five-star host, this is the place for you! We will absolutely be back.
