Riveredge Escape Cabin

My husband and I just spent 3 wonderful days here. If we knew in advance how great it would be I would have booked a longer stay. We have had many getaway rental homes and this place was the best ever. The owners have clearly cared for the home and the pictures don’t do It justIce. The little things like the “ ready to make s'mores kit”, the firewood, charcoal for the grill, laundry detergent, even toothbrushes… AND the Kayaks, tubes, mosquito lamps (although surprisingly I never saw a mosquito), the hosts of this home THOUGHT of EVERYTHING to make our stay special. We could walk 50 feet from the back porch and be in the water which is shallow enough for small kids to stand in and still tube or kayak in. We will stay again very soon and bring back our kids and grandchildren so they can enjoy it too. WE LOVED THIS PLACE!

This was the second time staying at the cabin and my family and I loved every minute of it. The upgrades were beyond beautiful and we would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a great time at Riverside Escape Cabin. It was absolutely beautiful. The flowing river in the backyard to the friendly deer that come by to visit. We enjoyed our stay, wished we could of stayed longer!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Riveredge Escape cabin! We chose this cabin not only because of the beautiful views and access to the river, but because it is dog friendly, and that was a huge win for us. I hate leaving our dogs behind when we travel, so being able to bring them along made the trip that much more special. I actually discovered Riveredge Escape from a TikTok video showing dogs playing in the river, and it immediately made me look the place up. I’m so glad I did! One of the best parts was that we really didn’t have to go anywhere once we arrived. There was plenty to do right at the cabin. My daughter and I had a blast tubing down the river, and we all loved spending time relaxing on the back porch. The porch was so nicely set up and was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The only two things I would mention as feedback, and neither are the fault of the host or the cabin, are that the road to access the cabin can be a little sketchy depending on your vehicle, so just be prepared for that. Also, it had rained before and a little during our stay, which made the backyard pretty muddy. With the dogs running around, I was mostly worried about tracking mud back to the cabin. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend Riveredge Escape to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, especially if you want to bring your four-legged family members along. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Riveredge Escape! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway in Ellijay. The highlight for us was definitely the river. Being able to walk right down to the Coosawattee River, sit by the water, and listen to it flowing was incredibly peaceful. It felt like the perfect mountain escape. The outdoor space is amazing. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, spending time around the fire pit, and enjoying the deck overlooking the river. The kids had a blast with the playset, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. Inside, the cabin was cozy, clean, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the fireplace made the evenings even better. We also really enjoyed having access to the Coosawattee River Resort amenities. Riveredge Escape is the perfect combination of peaceful riverfront seclusion and family-friendly amenities. We didn't want to leave and would absolutely stay here again. If you're looking for a cabin in Ellijay where you can truly relax, enjoy the river, and spend quality time together, this is it. Five stars!

Riveredge Escape Cabin was the perfect getaway! The private road, peaceful setting, and beautiful river views made it feel like a true escape. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We loved the upgraded decks for relaxing by the river, the outdoor space, and the play set for the kids. A beautiful, family-friendly cabin in the perfect Ellijay location… we can’t wait to return!

Riveredge Escape was the perfect getaway! The cabin is beautiful, spacious, incredibly clean, and very well maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still having great spaces to spend time together. The riverfront setting is absolutely amazing. We loved sitting outside listening to the river, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying how peaceful and private the property feels. Being able to walk right down to the river made the experience even more special. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the outdoor spaces were definitely a highlight. It would be perfect for a family vacation, couples traveling together, or a relaxing weekend with friends. Pictures really don’t do the river and property justice. Such a beautiful and peaceful place…we would absolutely stay at Riveredge Escape again!

This place is simply amazing! We enjoyed playing in the river, on the playground, and hot tub. We are already trying to schedule a return trip!

Our family had an amazing stay at Riveredge Escape! From the moment we arrived, we loved the authentic log cabin feel and peaceful setting right on the river. The kids spent hours playing on the playset, exploring the yard, and watching deer wander through the property each morning and evening. One of our favorite parts was having direct access to the river. We enjoyed relaxing by the water, fishing, and simply soaking in the beautiful scenery. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a family getaway. We loved being able to unplug, spend quality time together, and enjoy nature while still having all the conveniences of home. If you’re looking for a peaceful riverfront retreat in Ellijay, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay here was the best. Our family loves to cook, and we had everything we could think to use. The beds were the perfect size and comfort. The thought process for the play set by the river made me cry, seeing my kids enjoying it. I would deff come back and stay

Awesome stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The location right on the river is stunning and the sounds of the river were so peaceful. We saw geese, ducks, deer, and countless birds. We loved all of the outdoor activities available and especially appreciated all the large trees in the back yard, they provided lots of shade during the day. The host Chelsea is very kind and super responsive. Overall a really special place and would highly recommend.

The house was amazing!! Well thought out from the playground, fire pit, and kayaks to the games and hot tub!! Our family of 4 had the perfect getaway!! We will def be back!!

We loved our stay celebrating my 50th birthday. Our group rented 3 cabins and enjoyed being able to spend time together! The porch was amazing , kitchen fully stocked, comfortable beds,& my grandson loved the playground!We enjoyed it so much we are planning a summer visit! Oh , the deer are absolutely amazing too - eating directly from my hand !!!

We recently stayed at Riveredge Escape Cabin and had a lovely time. Updated & beautiful cabin. We took our five kiddos for our first family vacation and had a blast. Everything was laid out so nicely. The instructions made things a breeze. They had everything we needed which was great! The owners were quick to respond and answered all of our questions. It was peaceful and had so many fun activities for the kids. We absolutely recommend this cabin rental.

We had a terrific time at Riveredge Escape Cabin! The cabin sits right on one of the most beautiful portions of the river that is wider than other sections allowing for a swallower and very kid friendly section to play in all day. The cabin came equipped with tubes, kayaks, kids life jackets, towels, fire wood, and really anything you could want in a cabin setting. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful cabin and property. The views and the sound of the river were incredible! Chelsea was a great host and her cabin had everything we needed for our family vacation. This cabin had something for everyone. Our favorite parts were fishing, kayaking, smores at the fire pit, the swing set, and the hot tub. Also, we really enjoyed visiting the resort amenities during our stay.

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The view is easily one of the best in all of North Georgia…absolutely breathtaking and something you could sit and enjoy all day. The outdoor area is amazing and clearly designed for relaxing and spending time together. Everything about the cabin feels thoughtfully planned, and you can tell the hosts really considered what guests might need. We didn’t feel like we had to bring much of anything because it was all there. The cabin was spotless, the beds and linens were extremely comfortable, and the whole place felt cozy and welcoming. Our kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a mountain getaway with incredible views, a great outdoor space, and a well-equipped, comfortable cabin, this place is a gem. We’d definitely come back!

Chelsea has everything we needed for a weekend getaway with the family and two small kids. This place was so kid friendly! The location was beautiful and Chelsea was so accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful house on the water! The kids loved the swing set and fire. We went to the local apple orchard about 28 minutes away. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Cabin was great, river lot is stunning. Our kids had a blast wading, fishing, and playing in the kayaks. Wonderful family getaway. Cabin was well stocked. Will book this place again if we revisit Elijay

Great place to bring a family very kid friendly and fun river views

Chelsea’s place is beautiful and it had everything we needed to a much needed trip away. The house is stunning. The river is perfect to play and splash in. It was so peaceful. Chelsea gave us great recommendations in the area and was always quick to respond if we had a question.

This was an absolutely amazing place to spend time with family! Chelsea nailed it! The surroundings were beautiful and there was so much to do. I really liked this place because the smallest things that a lot of hosts may not take into consideration were perfect. Literally down to the quality of the paper towels. The deck had a nice relaxing view and nice Komodo Joe smoker. We saw deer that came pretty close and a mama bear and 3 cubs the morning we left. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Would definitely stay again. Thank you Chelsea!

We had a great trip and enjoyed the house tremendously! Sitting on the swing overlooking the river was one of our favorite spots! It was great to have basic staples provided so we didn’t have to worry about those until we needed to! (Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry/dishwasher pods, extra roll of paper towels, etc). We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ellijay!

The cabin was an amazing escape for our family, with amazing scenery and tons to do without leaving the property! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin in Ellijay! The place was cozy, clean, and very well-stocked—we had no trouble finding anything we needed. The amenities at the resort were incredible, from putt-putt to both indoor and outdoor pools. There was truly something for everyone. We did run into a couple of small issues (like figuring out the downstairs shower and the fan in the living room), but Chelsea responded immediately and everything was resolved super quickly. Her communication was top-notch! 10/10 would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! PERFECT Vacation Home & Location for Families!! Chelsea's cabin had EVERYTHING you could want/need for a family vacation. From the complimentary S'mores supplies to a secret playroom equipped with toys; from kayaks, river tubes, and fishing gear to corn hole, RC cars, and water guns Chelsea provided us with all of our vacation needs. We were immediately welcomed by easy entry instructions, cozy beds, and a well stocked pantry. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed fun and adventure by the river during the day and relaxation by the fire pit at night. It is easy to tell that Chelsea wants her guests to enjoy their cabin as much as her family does. She thought of everything; there were things for all of our 5 children (ages 1 though 9) - highchair, legos, stuffed animals, board games, and an xbox. We will ABSOLUTELY be staying at Riveredge Escape Cabin again and will DEFINITELY recommend this as a vacation home for our friends and family.

Chelsea was an excellent host who was always very on top of communication. She was proactive and always provided the information we needed, including festivities going on for the holiday weekend in her Cabin's neighborhood. She was very nice and willing to accommodate an early check-in. House was just as pictured and the backyard is wonderful. Right on the river, beautiful play area for kids and huge trees providing shade during the hot summer months. The house was fully stocked with all the essentials and nice extra touches like shampoo & body wash. Would definitely recommend her place. We have a mid-sized SUV and would recommend using an SUV to more easily get to her place.

We had a wonderful time! Our kids absolutely loved the playground! They had a smores station for us which was such a nice touch! Everything was wonderful! We loved our time here!

WOW such a great escape from the city with our family and friends. Being able to play, eat, and just have a cup of coffee outside and listen to the sounds of the river was so peaceful. Chelsea did everything possible to make our trip great- including ordering fishing rods and a tackle box so my young son could experience fishing for the first time. Also the Blackstone grill was a huge surprise for us and we used it to grill almost every meal!

This was the perfect location for a family getaway! The views are beautiful and it provided the perfect mix of fun and relaxation for our family of 5!

Amazing house for the whole family!

We had a great visit at this cabin! The host was extremely responsive before and during our stay which really helped in ensuring that we had a great getaway! The cabin had everything you could ever need, just show up with food and clothes!! The outdoor space was perfect for kids and really helped pass the time with so many things to do outdoors. We also utilized the resort pass and the kids loved the indoor pool. If clean, kid friendly, and near the water is what you are looking for this is a great option.

We had the most incredible stay at this Airbnb! The river and views were absolutely breathtaking, and the owner left no detail untouched. The beds, blankets, and pillows were so comfortable—I truly felt right at home. The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need, and then some. Our 2-year-old absolutely loved the swingset, and to top it off, the host went above and beyond by providing a toddler swing for our baby, which made the experience even more special. The whole stay was wonderful, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making everything run smoothly. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend this place—it’s the perfect getaway.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. Peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable for kids and adults, quiet, a true hidden gem. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs in North Georgia and this one is by far my favorite. Our host Chelsea was so amazing and accommodating. Just go ahead and hit the book button. You won’t be disappointed.

They thought of everything. You almost don’t need anything except your groceries. This is an amazing place and we can’t wait to visit again in summer when we can get in the river.
